MEET ARIANA

Ariana is the Founder and Creative Director of Exo Alien, a fashion designer, and multimedia artist who approaches design in a non-traditional manner. She creates through the lens of energy and emotions drawn from her travels and musical experiences. Her design process explores vibrant colors, metallic sheens, abstract shapes, and organic textures, inspired by the eclectic tapestry of the world around her.

In 2018, during her senior year at Parsons, Ariana collaborated with Gabi Asfour of ThreeAsFour, an established fashion house known for avant-garde designs blending art, architecture, and technology. Midway through her senior thesis collection, Gabi challenged her to remove side seams from her pieces. Embracing this directive, Ariana discovered it infused her designs with new meaning and a distinctive aesthetic, creating unprecedented shapes and lines.

After working in the ravewear industry for a few years, Ariana received feedback suggesting her designs needed more commercial appeal. While she enjoyed her time with these companies, she aspired to establish her own luxury platform that combined elements of rave culture, athletic wear, and artistic textile techniques. This platform would allow her to continue honing her signature no-side-seam techniques, explore unique textile manipulations, and experiment with new materials and colors. In 2021, Ariana dedicated nine months to crafting a collection that embodied her vision. The launch of this collection in August 2022 marked the establishment of Exo Alien as a platform for her distinctive, boundary-pushing designs.

Since then, Ariana has achieved numerous successes, creating costume collections for some of the biggest festivals in the world, one-of-a-kind designs for a range of performers, and styling projects such as the NFL. Recently, she has also ventured into a new endeavor: designing custom clothing for dogs—her brand will be launching soon. Through Exo Alien, Ariana is pushing the boundaries of fashion and self-expression, inviting people to unlock a new level of confidence and style. With each piece, she offers more than just an outfit—she creates a portal to new experiences, designed to be re-worn, restyled, and reinvented time and time again.
